Attractive features of the Sundancer include an open-plan cockpit, woodgrain features, port & starboard seating, and two spacious staterooms with ensuites.
The Sea Ray 460 Sundancer has a large cockpit that offers comfort and is useful for sport fishing. The swimming platform includes a hidden ladder, and the boat’s Glendinning Cablemaster shore power cable system is stowed in the transom compartment.
Cockpit & Helm
There is plenty of seating in the lower cockpit area. She has an aft-facing curved bench seat backing the helm, which is divided by a moveable table. The Sea Ray 46 also includes an electrically powered aft bench settee along the transom. Guests can enjoy the use of the wet bar and numerous storage options. She also has a DC breaker panel positioned on the port side.
The helm station has a beautiful dash arrangement consisting of digital engine display and various electronic instruments. On the right side of the console is the switch panel. The Sea Ray 460 Sundancer has a movable captain’s seat on the starboard side and extra guest seats at the center of the helm. This design leaves the port side free for access to the cabin.
Engine Compartment
There’s a hatch in the cockpit deck that leads to the engine room. The extra headroom provided in the engine compartment is excellent in contrast to yachts of similar size. Access to the engine and its accessories is rather easy without the need to become a contortionist!
The engine room has a 2-inch vinyl barrier that is gel coated and insulated. While on the move, the Sea Ray 460 Sundancer generates less noise due to an auxiliary generator and an excellent engine coupled with underwater exhaust.
Sea Ray 460 Saloon
Ultraleather upholstery decorates the main saloon of the Sea Ray 460 Sundancer. This area features an inclining seat and a sofa that can be converted into an expansive seating area at the push of a button. There is ample cupboard storage above the seating, along the starboard headliner.
An oval-shaped high-low table with two kidney-shaped cushioned stools occupies the saloon’s center. Whenever the stools are not in use, they may be stowed away beneath the ends of the table.
On the port side of the saloon, one of the heads can be accessed from the saloon or forward stateroom. The aft stateroom of the Sea Ray four sixty houses the other head. Both heads have VacuFlush toilets, and the front head has an enclosed shower, while the aft head has a pullout faucet sprayer.
Sundancer 460 Galley
Meals can be prepared in the galley, which is located on the port side of the Sea Ray 460 Sundancer. The galley provides generous-sized countertop with molded coverings for the sink and cooktop, and plenty of cupboard and drawer storage.
There is also a three-burner stove, coffeemaker, microwave/convection oven, and an upright refrigerator/freezer. In addition, the 460 Sundancer has a flat-screen TV, sound system, and CD/DVD player to entertain guests.
Sea Ray Sundancer 460 Staterooms
There are two staterooms, each with sturdy sliding pocket doors that provide privacy. The forward stateroom has a flat-screen television which can be viewed from the full-size berth. There is ample storage space beneath the berth, which includes a built-in sound system and subwoofer. On the port side of the stateroom there is a vanity with a seat and two hanging lockers.
The aft stateroom has two functions. During the day it functions as an integral space to the main saloon. At night the twin sliding doors are closed and the area’s broad settee is transformed into a full-size berth. In a matter of minutes this area is once again transformed into an enclosed stateroom.
