A Brief History of VanDutch
Founded in 2008, the Dutch yacht company are relatively new to the scene of motor yacht manufacture. Commercial production of their yachts began in 2009, with the first model named the VanDutch 40. From that moment the yacht manufacturer utilized powerful partnerships with companies such as Red Bull Racing, to successfully launch its brand in the South of France.
In 2013 the company began their operations in the United States, with their US headquarters based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Around January 2019 VanDutch decided to expand their operations and aquired some space on the Miami River, in Miami, Florida. Their European headquarters were based in Port de la Rague, France. Meanwhile their design offices were located in Amstelveen, Holland.
As of mid 2020, Italian ship yard Cantiere Del Pardo (located in Forli, Italy) aquired the VanDutch brand. All VanDutch motor yacht models are now built at the Forli ship yard in Italy. The Cantiere Del Pardo ship yard has 130 employees and a boat contruction area of 40,000 square meters.
VanDutch Models
VanDutch luxury yacht models are assigned two digits after the brand name, which represent the model´s length in feet. So a VanDutch 75 is a luxury motor yacht manufactured by VanDutch that is 75 feet long. Among their models are: VanDutch 30, VanDutch 40, VanDutch 48, VanDutch 56, VanDutch 75, and their Super Yacht Edition.

The VanDutch 30 borrows the sophistication of the VanDutch 40, along with its hull lines and ‘open’ top deck design. This prestige yacht comes with a standard stern-drive Mercury Mercruiser 430 HP gas engine. There are three optional engine packages available, the most powerful being 2 diesel Mercury Mercruiser 270 HP engines.

The very first model produced by the Dutch yacht company. Its sleek design, nautical performance, and ‘lifestyle’ image made a big impact on the motor yacht world. She packs shaft-drive propulsion and 2 diesel Volvo D6-440 engines for a total output of 880 horsepower.

The ’48’ came to light by sizing down the 2013 VanDutch 55 top deck, producing a more adaptable yacht. This beast is powered by 2 Volvo Penta D11 engines for a total output of 1450 horsepower.

The VanDutch 56 also came to fruition thanks to the classic 55 design. The company wanted to supply the ideal yacht for the perfect cruising experience. This model has 2 Volvo Penta D13 engines which produce a total of 1800 horsepower.

The largest and most customizable of the entire VanDutch fleet. This ocean-going cruiser can be entirely operated by the owner alone. This mighty beast is powered by 2 MAN V12 1650 engines which produce a total of 3300 horsepower. If you still want more power, you can choose the 2 MAN V12 2000 engines. That´s right, 4000 horsepower!
